To determine whether "top of the evidence hierarchy" approaches - clinical and laboratory research - have, so far, moved s toward answering relevant questions about the use of complementary medicine and to explore alternatives to those approaches in complementary medicine for cancer.

Audience

Basic and clinical scientists, academics, health maintenance organization providers and administrators, policy makers and philosophers.

Outcome

The 15 papers prepared were published as a special issue in the journal, Integrative Cancer Therapies in 2006.
